PUPR & USAID

Background
The Ministry of Public Works and Housing (PUPR), in collaboration with USAID, initiated the development of a digital platform to support capacity building for personnel at the Drinking Water Technical Center (BTAM). This initiative aims to provide a structured, accessible, and relevant learning medium tailored to the technical needs of BTAM personnel across various regions.

Application Overview
We developed a custom Learning Management System (LMS) designed as a centralized learning platform for BTAM personnel. The system enables digital, flexible, and measurable learning processes, allowing users to access training materials anytime and from anywhere.

The platform features a variety of learning content, including interactive instructional videos designed to enhance understanding of technical topics. Each learning module is equipped with pre-tests and final assessments to measure participants’ knowledge before and after completing the materials, ensuring an objective and data-driven evaluation process.
In addition, the LMS provides a learning progress dashboard that allows users to track their training achievements in real time. A live chat feature is also integrated to facilitate direct communication between participants, instructors, and administrators, creating a more interactive and collaborative learning experience.
Impact
The implementation of this LMS has enabled a more structured, measurable, and accessible approach to competency development for BTAM personnel. Through this collaboration between the Ministry of PUPR and USAID, the platform supports the standardization of training quality and contributes to strengthening technical capacity within the drinking water sector.
